Printing
Applying various colors.
There are various printing techniques that can be used for the production of your paperboard packaging. The most common printing technique used to produce paperboard packaging is sheetfed offset. In this technology, individual sheets are passed at high speed through a set of printing towers with the purpose of applying various colors on the sheet. At the end of an offset press, the sheets are dried and stacked. A large variety of ink types and colors can be printed, onto numerous different substrates such as cardboard and plastic. Inks are cured by using ultraviolet light (UV) or Infrared heat (IR) drying.
